Men's Captain and Lady Captain are automatically on this committee for the tenure of their office. Junior Captains are Andrew Smith and Theodora Lande. Best wishes to you all for 2022. As previously advised locker charges will be reinstated. There will be a €20 annual charge per locker, and this will be included on your invoice along with trolley shed fee €10 and buggy park fee €25 per year where applicable. We are aware that some members purchased their lockers more than 20 years ago and we would ask that these members inform the office and complete a simple form confirming this, for record purposes for future committees. "Inherited lockers" will be subject to this charge. The buggy park is nearing completion, but in the meantime, could you please continue to park your buggy in the car park. All buggy owners will receive a letter when the buggy park is ready with their buggy park number and terms and conditions of parking in the park and use of buggies on the course. There was agreement at the Club AGM, that the Committees would tackle the issue of slow play, and you will be kept informed of any decisions taken to alleviate this. Invoices for subscriptions will issue next week. Social prepayment charges are not being retained by the club this year, as agreed. In advance of this funds presently in the bar levy purse will be transferred to the food levy purse for ease of future administration of the bar levy. As always, the food levy purse can be used in the bar. We are nearing the shortest day of the year, but there is still enough daylight to fit in a few holes of golf. The greens are in great condition thanks to the Greens staff and there are competitions as usual every weekend and Tuesday's and Wednesday's. There are a number of lost and found clubs in the trolley shed so please have a look to see if any of them belong to you. There are only a few days left to do so, and then the leftover clubs will go to recycling. Don't forget to collect your Christmas Fare prizes from the office. Mary Osborne Hon. Secretary
