Courtown Golf Club in 2016 celebrated 80 years of golf. Founded in 1936, the golf course was upgraded to 18 holes in 1974. It was built on a piece of land that was once part of the old Courtown estate. With its panoramic views of the South Irish Sea and the beautiful North Wexford coast, it provides a delightful distraction to many a poor scoring round.
We welcome all golfers to come and enjoy Courtown this year as we have various Open Days and Tee Times for casual golf. In 2018 our Ladies Team were crowned 2018 Junior Foursomes All Ireland Champions. Our 1000-member club is a firm favourite with visitors who love the mature parkland course, which is par 71 and almost 6000 metres in length.
