Frosty 18th A Christmas Message from Club Captains Eileen and Paul It is an honour for us to be appointed Captains of Courtown Golf Club and from the minute we took up the roles we have received lots of good wishes from you which are very much appreciated. As 2022 draws to a close we can, for the first time in a few years, look forward to a New Year with optimism. The Club is in a healthy position with lots of new members and a course in excellent condition- notwithstanding recent weather travails! The year promises to be an exciting one in Courtown Golf Club when we can build on the progress of recent years. The opening of our new practice area, together with the Trackman Studio will give all our members unrivalled facilities and the opportunity to reduce those handicaps!! We are looking forward to meeting and playing with you next year. We welcome our new members and wish them many years of enjoyable golf in Courtown G.C. We are very lucky in Courtown to have many excellent sponsors who make a major contribution to the Club and we would encourage you to support them when you can. At this time of year our thoughts are also with members who have lost loved ones in the last year. We want to wish all members, their families and friends a very Happy Christmas and the best of everything in 2023- may you make new friends and keep those three putts off your card!! Eileen and Paul. The weather has not been kind to us over the last week or so, with course closures, due to frost and heavy rainfall. Don’t forget about our Trackman where the weather is always favourable! As we approach the festive season, we can hopefully expect more clement weather for our upcoming competitions. Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th Invitation Ladies and Gents Singles.
